Wihega Resort offers an excellent vacation opportunity where "Up North at the Lake" can still be found! Located in the "Heart" of Wisconsin's recreational area-Vilas County, the headwaters county at the top of Wisconsin. It is a quiet and unspoiled county rich in natural resources with an abundance of wildlife. Escape from the hectic schedule of everyday life, just minutes north of the city of Minocqua and just south of Boulder Junction. At Wihega Resort we offer clean and comfortable, fully equipped lakeside cabins ranging from 2-4 bedrooms, and lots of other amenities for our resort patrons (see Amenities page).

Located in a quiet secluded bay, surrounded by the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest, amidst a heavily wooded strand of magnificent pines and hardwoods, exceptionally beautiful in the spring and fall. At Wihega Resort we offer a wide variety of family activities for every age and interest. Relax on our groomed sandy beach with all day sun with a gradual depth, swim or water ski in crystal clear waters, canoe the scenic shorelines, fish for the catch of a lifetime, cruise the lake in our pontoon boat rental, or enjoy the scenery and wildlife from the resort or while you hike, bike or horseback ride through the miles of state forest...just some of the area activities you will be able to enjoy during you stay in the beautiful "Northwoods".

Wihega Resort is only minutes away from a large tourism area and several quaint scenic towns offering numerous activities including water ski shows, amusement parks, horseback riding trails, logging competitions, unique shopping and dining experiences and a popular casino. For the golfers there are many beautiful l8 hole championship courses nearby, that are open to the public. We offer reasonable weekly summer rates and daily rates based on availability, along with spring & fall daily rate packages and weekly discounted rates.
